Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Show – Sunday, April 25th. The Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Club’s annual Pre 1973 Classic Car Show will be held from 9am-3pm. Over 200 shiny, bright classic cars with shiny engines reminiscent of days gone by will be pulling in for Lion’s Club pancake breakfast from 7-10am on Sunday. This is one of the largest car shows held at Bates Nut Farm all year. The show is open to all Pre-1973 American made cars. All proceeds from this event will go to the clubs local charities: Elizabeth Hospice, Interfaith Community Services and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Walk around and enjoy the 50’s music playing and check out the cars, opportunity drawings, and prizes. It is a great day not only for the men, but for the women who love coming to the craft fair and enjoying the shopping at Bates and Farmer’s Daughter. This year the club is highlighting the Cameo Pick-up Truck. The GM designer of the Cameo Pick-up, Chuck Jordan will be at the show to answer questions. During the awards, guest speaker, Eric Newberry, from the California Highway Patrol will share about new laws on the road for 2010.
